UVA Health ID Card

Employees and students of the Medical Center, University Physicians Group, School of Medicine, Nursing and other Academic employees (including Student Health, Police, Security, Facilities Management and select other departmental employees) who are required to wear a UVA Health ID Badge can call 434-982-4009 or email for more information.

Before submitting your application or scheduling an appointment, log in and upload your passport-style photo.  A confirmation email is sent to your UVA email account upon review and approval of the photo.

Student Academic ID Card

A University of Virginia Student is eligible for a University Student ID Card if they are enrolled in a degree program or a summer session program. There is no fee charged for the initial ID card. The privileges associated with the ID card depend upon the amount of tuition and comprehensive fees paid by the student.

Faculty/Staff/Other Academic ID Card

Full-Time and Part-Time Faculty and Staff receiving benefits at the University are entitled to receive a University Faculty/Staff ID Card. There is no fee charged for the initial ID card.  All other IDs, wage, contractors and other affiliates, are subject to a fee for the initial Academic ID.
